MCP Multiplexer manages multiple downstream MCP servers as a single entry point. It spawns configured servers on startup, aggregates their tools with namespace prefixes, and routes calls transparently to the correct backend. Features include automatic server restart on binary changes via file watching, crash recovery with exponential backoff, graceful shutdown with proper cleanup, and structured logging. Built in Rust with Tokio for async processing, it presents all downstream tools through a unified stdio interface.
