IntelliJ Kotlin REPL is an IntelliJ IDEA plugin that exposes a stateful Kotlin REPL backed by the IDE process as an MCP server. It enables AI coding agents to access PSI trees, indexes, refactorings, code completion, and other IDE machinery through the kotlin_eval tool. The server runs locally at 127.0.0.1:39393/mcp and must be kept bound to localhost to prevent exposing IDE project files and credentials.
