InsightsLibrary is a plug-and-play knowledge base MCP server that provides access to over 10,000 high-quality insight reports stored locally for secure data handling. Built by Shawn Hui, it offers comprehensive search and retrieval capabilities through file-based and content-based agents that support keyword matching with AND/OR logic, publisher filtering, date range queries, and full-text content search with pagination. The implementation uses TinyDB for local storage, integrates with PDF processing through PyMuPDF, and includes intelligent sorting by relevance or publication date, making it valuable for research workflows, market analysis, and knowledge management tasks where users need to quickly discover and access relevant business insights from a curated document collection.
