Apache Solr

This Spring Boot MCP server provides Apache Solr search and indexing capabilities through six specialized tools including advanced search with filtering/faceting/pagination, schema-less document indexing from JSON, collection management with health monitoring and statistics, and schema introspection. Built using Java 21 with SolrJ client library and Spring AI MCP framework, it features robust error handling with individual document fallback during batch failures, automatic JSON flattening for nested objects, dynamic field type detection, and comprehensive metrics collection from Solr MBeans including cache performance and handler statistics. The implementation supports both standalone Solr and SolrCloud deployments with Docker Compose setup, making it valuable for AI-assisted search application development, data ingestion workflows, index monitoring and optimization, and building intelligent search interfaces that leverage Solr's full-text search capabilities without requiring direct Solr API knowledge.
