No. Every answer is grounded in chunks retrieved from your own content. When the answer isn't in your content, the assistant says so — it doesn't improvise.
How does the message limit work?
Each visitor question = 1 message. If you hit your monthly cap, the widget politely tells visitors to come back later. You can buy a one-time $29 top-up for +5,000 messages anytime.
What happens if my content changes?
Hit "Refresh now" from your dashboard and we'll re-crawl your site. We don't run automatic daily re-crawls — that keeps load off your origin server and gives you control over when your bot's knowledge updates. Manual refresh is rate-limited (once per week on paid tiers, once per month on Free).
How do I install the widget?
Copy one script tag from your dashboard and paste it before </body>. Works on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, custom HTML — anywhere you can paste a script.
What source types can I add?
Sitemaps, RSS feeds, individual URLs, raw text snippets, and uploaded files (PDF / DOCX / TXT). Mix and match. A sitemap typically covers everything in one paste.

Can I block topics?

Where is conversation history stored?
Stored securely in our database. Browse, search, and export transcripts as CSV from your dashboard. Retention is tier-based (Starter 30 days, Growth 90 days, Scale 365 days), and you can disable logging entirely per-companion. We never sell or train on your visitor conversations.
Can I white-label it?
Scale tier lets you hide the "Powered by HiFriendbot" link.
